The card I chose to make uses all Stampin Up products.
The bundle I chose was from the Party Animal Suite on page 4-5 of the Occasions Catalog and the stamp set is the Balloon Adventures. I also used the matching framelits (Balloon Pop-up) and Party Animal embellishments and Emerald Envy taffeta ribbon.
I used a Paper and ink combination of Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Emerald Envy and Pacific Point.
The card is pretty easy to make
I used Emerald Envy for my cardbase and a piece of DSP cut to and 1/8" shorter than the cardbase.
I cut out the balloon background with the Balloon Pop up framelits, then I trimmed the edges to the size I wanted it to be on the front of the card.
Stamped the balloons using the Balloon Adventures and Balloon Celebration stamp sets.
Punched them out using the Balloon punch.
I stamped the banner and cut it out by hand.
I added clear Wink of Stella on the balloons, banner and strings. I also added some Basic Rhinestones.
Take a gusseted bag from the Annual Catalog and adhere the flap on the bottom seam (this helps the bag to stand)
Next, Cut a piece of DSP to 3x9 and score one end at 2' & 4".
I like to put adhesive on the bottom of the dsp so it stays in place once inserted into the bag. Place the DSP inside the bag, you will want one section to be the front of the bag, bottom and then back.
I used the Banner Framelits for the front of the bag (used the 3rd and 4th smallest (counted from the smallest to largest))
I used a balloon stamp to on the background of the Tangerine Tango paper, and I used Stampin Write markers for the words.
Ct a piece of cardstock and punch out the stars with the Confetti Stars Punch.
Cut a piece of DSP to 3x2 and folding in half to (this will be at the top of the bag to help it stay closed)
I used a tassel from the Cupcakes & Carousels embellishment kit, I used a piece of tafetta ribbon and adhered it to the inside of the binder clip with a glue dot and then I hung a balloon embellishment with Whisper White baker's twine.
Finished it off with some Silver sequins and Basic Rhinestones.
I hope you enjoyed the projects I made for you! Please leave a comment for your chance at winning some blog candy!!!
