Simple Stamping TipsStamping is a satisfying creative experience for many reasons, and one of them is the flexibility it offers. Make your projects as simple or complex as you like, with as few or as many color combinations as you want. Whatever you do, the results are almost sure to be amazing!
One fun technique is to “lengthen” the image, as we did with the Tu es formidable tag. First, we stamped the candle image on a piece of Basic White Cardstock, then cut the cardstock in half. We then adhered the two pieces to the tag front and hid the gap with the sentiment. Kind of tricky and kind of fun!To add a colorful touch to our Perfection card front and Schönen Geburtstag gift box belly band, we used a variation of tone-on-tone stamping using an ink that is slightly darker than the cardstock. You could also use the coordinating ink color or VersaMark ink to achieve a lighter tone-on-tone look.Tip: While you’re at it, create extra tone-on-tone stamped cardstock for use on future projects. Before long you’ll have a nice collection of Designer Series Paper—handstamped by you!Have fun simple stamping! And remember to share your work on social media using the hashtag #SimpleStamping. We love to see your work. Happy Stampin Steph When a new stamp set arrives, sometimes the first thing you want to do is experiment. You may want to pull out several ink pads and stamp with the set in different ways to see how many adorable project ideas you can think up. Our concepts artists are the same, and as you can see, they had fun trying to decide how best to show off this darling donkey’s cuteness with just a few simple supplies.
For the first card, we stamped the same image twice and cut the Basic White Cardstock and Designer Series Paper layers in half. This is so easy to do and creates a pleasing mirror image effect. For the next card, we used the same donkey image and sentiment multiple times on the same cardstock layer. It’s a simple trick, but the results are eye-catching. For the third card, we cut the Basic White Cardstock layer into three pieces and suggested movement by revealing more and more of the same donkey image. It’s almost like a vintage cartoon reel. So fun! And what’s more fun? Getting the Darling Donkey set for free!! That’s right! The stamp set is available until the end of February as part of Stampin Ups Sale-a-Bration. With a qualifying order of $50 you can receive this set for free! Be sure to check it out! Happy Stampin Steph My card features the Garden Wishes Bundle and Dandy Garden DSP. As I mentioned in my post for the Sweet Ice Oval Frame Cards, I had come across the oval and rectangle frames while going through what I have on hand. For this I used the rectangle. My design is very similar. And very easy to recreate even if you do not have the precut rectangle diecuts. The white frame is 3 3/4x 5 1/8 DSP layer is 4x5 1/4 I used Mossy Meadow for the cardbase. I stamped the Dandelion image using black Memento Ink and colored it in using Stampin Blends Light & Dark Mossy Meadow Blends and Dark Mango Melody. I attached the frame to the cardbase with dimensionals. Then I added the dandelion with dimensionals and tucked some of it under the frame. The bee was fussy-cut from the Dandy Garden DSP. I attached it to the frame with a mini dimensional and then added the little dash stamp to shove movement for the bee. To make the frame, use the Rectangle Stitched Framlelits. You will need a piece of Basic White or cardstock at 3 3/4"x5. Center the die on the paper and cut it out using the Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine. I created a video to demonstrate how to make the card! Thank you for visiting my blog today!

CASUAL To create our casual card, stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy ink on a layer of Basic White Cardstock, then adhere the stamped cardstock to the Mint Macaron card base. Stamp the heart image in Flirty Flamingo ink using the stamp-off technique. Then, punch five banners from our Flower & Field Designer Series Paper using the Banners Pick a Punch. Adhere the banners to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and tie with a Linen Thread bow. Done! You have the perfect, easy card to let someone know you care. AVID Add a little extra detail to the second card by spritzing with Bumblebee Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill using the Stampin’ Spritzer. Embellish the banners with flowers die cut using the Wreath Builder Dies, and add 2020–2022 In Color Enamel Dots. Die cut the sentiment using the Stitched Rectangles Dies, then finish with a fussy-cut, stamped heart popped up with a Stampin’ Dimensional. Pretty sweet! ARTFULLY AVID For our artfully avid card, we adhered additional flowers fussy cut from Designer Series Paper, plus some Vellum Cardstock. For an extra-lavish look, we layered on a die-cut heart and a fussy-cut sentiment, then amped up the artistry even more with a lacy edge made using Flower & Field Designer Series Paper and the Budding Blooms Dies. Stepping up your cards is so much fun! Start simple and go big. Mix and match until you find the look that is right for you. You could even invite friends over to brainstorm avid and artfully avid alternatives for the casual card. We can’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon! Happy Stampin
Steph As I was going through drawers to take inventory on what’s on hand...I came across a pack of these die cut oval and rectangle frames ...you pop the diecut out and use it as a tag, there’s a pre-cut hole in it. It was a perfect frame to showcase the Ice Cream Cone. My cards feature the Ice Cream Corner DSP and Sweet Ice Cream Stamp set and coordinating Ice Cream Cone Builder punch. The frame is 3 3/4x 5 1/8 DSP layer is 4x5 1/4 For my first set of cards I used Bermuda Bay and a Granny Apple Green. I then made a video for my YouTube channel and decided to feature different colors so I made a few more with Terracota Tile and So Saffron and Blackberry Bliss and Purple Posey You can make 6 cards from a sheet of 12x12. The purpose was to show how easy it is to use this products, create a frame and create cards for casual stamping. These cards come together so quickly!!! You can easily make multiples in minutes! 1 sheet of 12x12 DSP will make 6 cards!!
