This months hop theme is Say it with Senitments! I had to think about this theme for a bit. We use sentiments on all different type of cards. But they are not usually the focal point. Typically i focus on the paper or stamped images. Never the sentiment. I hope you joined me from Melissa Thomas's blog! And if your just joining me, be sure to visit Jo Blackman. You can also find a complete list at the bottom of the post. ![]() My card is super super easy. No gluing involved at all. I started with a Basic White cardbase. I used the Stampin Up stamp set called Ornate Thanks. I used my Stampin Up Stamparatus to line up the stamp Thank You. I used Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Real Red, Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green ink pads. After each stamp, I moved down one hinge on the stamparatus. SO EASY. I then lined up the greetings under each thank you. Ink them all in Pacific Point and stamped all at once. I added some Basic Rhinestone jewels to finish the card! If you never used a Stamparatus, you have to try it! This card came together sooooo fast. ![]() I made this little box. Its just so cute! I plan on filling it with a few little treats for my daughter. She has been helping us get my son to soccer when my husband and I have to work. I think it will be a nice way to thank her for all her help! For the base of the box, I used a piece of 6x6 Kraft Paper. Score each side at 1 1/2. For the lid, I used the Be Dazzling Paper which was free from Sale-a-bration. You will need a 5x5 piece. Score all sides a 1" Trim on score line on each coner and then adhere to the other side. See Pictures below. I wrapped the box using the Red Satin ribbon! The greeting is from the Stampin Up Pansy Patch set. I punched it out using the Elegant Tag Punch
And that's it ...how adorable. I have to say I was worried my projects would be too simple. But as simple as they are I really LOVE how they came out. I hope you enjoyed my projects. Be sure to continue through the hop and be sure to comment Happy Stampin Steph
