Poison Apple Candy Apples

I decided to try my hand at these super fun Candy Apples made with the new Harvest Hello's stamp set and matching Apple Builder punch from Stampin' Up!
OMG LOVE LOVE how they came out!!!! Super easy to make as well! I used toothpicks for the sticks! I drew inspiration from The Craft Sergeant, she put together a video showing how to make the caramel/candy part of the apples.
Stamp the image onto the color cardstock you want to use (stamp the image in the same color ink) add some sponges around edges to make the shadow. Stamp the image again onto the color paper you want for the caramel, and fussy cut out the drips, add shaded etc and attach to the top of the apple. That simple.
The colors I used for the apples were Cherry Cobbler, Real Red and Granny Apple Green, for the caramel I used Cajun Craze and for the "poisoned" apple I used Basic Black. They are just so fun!!!!
You can find the Harvest Hello bundle here
I hope you enjoyed
Happy Stampin Steph

Stampin Friends Thankfulness Blog Hop

Welcome to this month's Stampin Friends Blog Hop!! This months theme is Thankfulness! Be sure to hop along!! We have amazing projects prepared for you to help you during this season of Thanks! You can find the list of participants at the end of my blog post!
I have prepared 2 projects for you today, 1 a home decor piece using a glass block and 2 a card using Stampin Up products!
I have had this glass block on hand since last Christmas, and I've really wanted to decorate it! There are so many ideas on Pinterest! So I started there. And well this sort of just evolved.
I am definitely out of my comfort zone so I had a tendency to overthink this whole thing! A few times I was like "I'm done. I'm not making it".....

I am glad I stuck to it!  I found the Families are Forever greeting from an old Cricut cartridge called Just Because Cards. I cut the greeting on Silver Vinyl and sponged over it with Cajun Craze ink. I used a heat tool to help set the ink!  A more permanent ink like StayzOn probably would have dried better. But I really like the affect. It has a little bit of an aged look. On the inside, I added white rice lights, wrapped in a olive green mesh ribbon. I should have used a longer strand of lights to give a more glowing look. But this still gives a nice glow when the lights are down. For the top, I used small fall picks and ribbon. I added the ribbon first and then built around it. The middle decor piece is a small gourd. I'm sure a pumpkin would look nice too!

I kept my card simple. I started with a Cajun Craze base, layered with Whisper White. I used DSP, stamps and dies from the Come to Gather Suite found in the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog. The DSP measures 3x3 1/2. I cut the largest leaf out with the Gathered leaves dies. I added a smaller piece of DSP behind.  The small leaf is cut in Cajun Craze and finished with a bit of twine.
The greeting is stamp in Cajun Craze on a piece of Whisper White that measure 1x4. All is assemble with Dimensionals. What do you think?

Stampin friends spooky halloween blog hop

Welcome to this month's Halloween Stampin Friends Blog Hop!! We have some really spook Halloween projects, be sure to hop along!! You can find the list of participants at the end of my blog post!

This is my favorite time of year here in Massachusetts! I love everything fall. The crisp air, the smells, leaves changing colors and getting ready for Halloween!

I have prepared 2 projects for you today using Stampin Up products! I had a few wood slices leftover from an ornament project I was working on! I created one for Halloween.
Picture
Picture
First I sponged the wood with Pumpkin Pie until I was happy with the color. Live and learn as I go. I probably would suggest Modge Podge that way the wood is protected as well! Then I sponged with the Craft White ink and Smoky Slate ink.  Once that dried, I then stamped "Wicked', the spider and spider webs with Stayz-on in Jet Black!  My original plan was to use the Die that coordinates with the Wonderfully Wicked Stamp set that is new in the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog. But...apparently I forgot to order it! Oops.
I added some rhinestones and a bow to finish it off! What do you think??

Picture

I made my card to coordinate with the Wicked Ornament so it can be given together as a gift!
I used the new Monster Bash Designer Series Paper and coordinated colors; Black and Pumpkin Pie! This new paper is so fun to use! And each sheet is double sided so you really have a lot of options! I used both sides for my card!! This card was so simple and comes together quickly. Perfect for making multiples if you like to give Halloween cards to family and friends!

I hope you enjoyed my projects and that you are following along in the hop. Be sure to check out Melissa Thomas's projects next!

Do you ever look up at the clouds and think to yourself, “Wouldn’t those be beautiful in stamps?” We do, too! Just add in a balloon punch and some uplifting phrases, and you’ve got yourself the Above the Clouds Bundle.
This bundle is fun and encouraging, and perfect for practicing new stamping techniques. Try out two-step stamping as we did with our pizza box sample, or try your hand at no-line watercoloring, just like the Hi, Friend sample. If you would like to make the banner, break out the Stampin’ Blends and the Stampin’ Spritzer, and blend and spritz to your heart’s desire! But the best part is that the sky is the limit with this bundle, so grab yours today and start stamping the clouds with them.

What is a Stamp-a-Stack you ask? Make multiples of 1 or more designs. You may choose from 4 card designs.
What is the benefit? Quick and easy way to increase the cards you have on hand!
How does it work? Upon RSVP,  choose the design you like best and just stamp and assemble! I do all the cutting for you!
Why not just buy cards at the store?? Handmade cards have so much more meaning!  Most people keep hand made gifts and cards!!!!
Why buy cheaply made over priced cards that have been giving over and over???
Can I choose more than 1 design? Yes you may choose as many designs as you want, however you must order a minimum of 5 of each design! Example if you want all 4 design you must order 5 or each for a total of 20 cards.

Cost=20 cards for $25 at $1.25 a card
40 cards for $40.00 at $1 a card
80+ cards for $70 at .88 a card!

Happy World Card Making Day from Stampin & Scrappin with Steph! W.C.D. is such a fun holiday created just us, and I am excited to share my inspiration with you!
World Card Making Day was created in 2006, and the original purpose was to kick-start the holiday card making season. Like many of us paper crafters, you make lots of cards for Christmas, but we all know that those beautiful cards don’t come together in one night. So grab your scissors and adhesives and make some cards today! Your family can fend for themselves, right? You deserve to celebrate.
World Card Making Day is October 5, 2019! But why celebrate just alone! So as a big thank you to all my followers, this event is for you! I will provide you with some samples of holiday projects, the newest catalogs (if you don't have one), a little afternoon snack and some cards!
You can join me from 3-5pm. Nothing fancy, but stop by, this will just take a few minutes of your time to celebrate! You will leave with 3 cards to jump-start your holiday card making!  But there's more, each attendee will be entered in raffle for a prize! No obligation to buy or join!

Be sure to RSVP so I know can be prepared for you! Click the following link to RSVP to my Facebook event:

I can't wait! Can you?

Hello and welcome to the July Anything Goes Stampin Friends Blog Hop! We have such a variety of projects for you to hop through from 10 amazing Hoppers. So sit back grab a drink and enjoy.
Picture
If you lose your way while hopping, you can scroll down and see the list of hoppers! Did you just come from Chery's blog? Wasn't her projects amazing!!! Be sure to continue to Anne Marie's after you finish!

Today I am certainly taking advantage of the anything goes theme with a little Christmas in July!! It's never to early to start planning cards and gift packing! I have prepared for you a Christmas card and a little treat bag. I found these adorable bags at Walmart on clearance! They a good size!!! The rest of products used are all current through Stampin UP.
I used the Dashing Deer Stamp set from Stampin Up on both the giftbag and card.
I stamped the deer in Shaded Spruce, the greeting in Real Red and I colored the little holly strip with Real Red and Shaded Spruce markers and cut this out using the Layering Circles dies.
I wrapped the bag in the Poppy Parade Textured Weave Ribbon and finished it with a bow!

Picture
For the card I added the matching Detailed Deer dies and cut out a deer. The card base is Shaded Spruce layered with Whisper White. I used the Layering Squares dies to cut out the 2 squares. I also stamped a deer in Real Red and cut it out with the matching die.  I used the Woodland Embossing Folder and embossed on a piece of vellum and then sponged over the images with Sahara Sand ink. I also added a little Wink of Stella over the trees to make them glitter, unfortunately you can't see it in the pictures!.
I hope you enjoyed the projects I have prepared for you! I'd love to hear what you think, so please be sure to leave a comment below!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
