Wasn't Lynn Streifert's projects awesome! Lynn is so talented! I am very excited to share my project in this month's Stamp Friends Anything Goes Blog Hop. We have 9 extremely talented blog hoppers this month as well, so you definitely want to hop along and see all the amazing projects!
And..what's a Blog Hop without a little blog candy??? Be sure to leave a comment and share what you like about my projects and I will choose 1 lucky winner at the end of July!! If you get lost along the way or not sure whose blogs you may have missed, a full list of participants are at the end of my post.
I find that I am always in need of birthday packaging! And especially in July, we have a lot of birthday celebrations!. Soo...I chose to feature new products from the Foil Frenzy Suite in the Stampin' Up's annual catalog! I purchased the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set and Happy Birthday Thinlits bundle along with the Foil Frenzy Specialty DSP when the catalog went live, but I have yet to use it
I was inspired by a weekly email from Stampin Up, that is sent to demonstrator. The email showcased a gift bag and 2 different cards using this suite. I put my own spin on it, but kept my designs very simple because I needed to whip several up! I LOVE the colors in the DSP. There are 4 foil colors on Kraft Paper!!! Berry Burst, Tangerine Tango, Lemon Lime Twist and Soft Sky on 3 different patterns, stripes, dots and chevron! I used a combination of Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist and added a little pop of Tangerine Tango! I also used the stamp set Balloon Celebration and balloon punch for the solid Tangerine Tango balloons and stars on the cards. The bag was super easy to make. You need a full sheet of 12x12 paper. Score one side at 3 3/4, 5 3/4, 9 1/2 and 11 1/2. Turn and score at 2". If you want to have the top fold, keep the paper with the 2" score to the left, turn the paper over and score at 10 1/2. Assemble like you would any box/bag. Fold on all the score lines and cut up the lines. Fold the top score line backwards so you see the Kraft side. I decorated the bag and finished it off with the new Gold Library Clip and Mini Gold Sequin trim.
I hope you enjoyed the projects I have made for you! I'd love to hear what you think. Be sure to leave me a comment for your chance to win some Blog Candy!
