I had a request for wedding cards! So today’s cards focus on weddings and wedding showers. I chose two different designer series papers to build my cards around.
The first design I chose was right out of our annual catalog. I used Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper, Detailed Floral Framelits and focused color was Powdered Pink. The second card I used the Born to be Loved stamp set, Sweet & Sassy Framelits and the Born to Be Loved Designer Series Paper. I embossed the stamped images in gold powder. I really love the Very Vanilla and Gold combination! So elegant! And perfect for a wedding shower! These cards definitely have the WOW factor and were super easy to make! Want to learn how? But when I do I reach for the Something for Baby set. I combined current ink colors with some retired DSP! I just love how Stampin Up colors coordinate so well together that I never have to worry that something old just wont go with something new!!
I am contemplating a greeting on the outside of the card, or do I just stamp it in the inside??? Oh decisions, decisions! What do you think? That's right!!! Contact me today for details! Happy Stampin Steph Sometimes the most full-filling projects I make are the ones that incorporate old and new! Once stamps or supplies retire, I find myself siting on a lot of leftovers. When I teach workshops and design for my clubs, I focus on new products only!!
For the these cards (except the pandas, I posted about those on Sunday) I was able to use up ribbon that I have had for a while!!!! I had enough of each color to create 2 cards of each! Perfect! I used the Picture Perfect Stamp set! Wild Wasbi, Daffodil Delight, Blushing Bride and Dapper Denim were the colors of my cardbases and inks, I also added Bermuda Bay, Berry Burst, So Saffron and Wisteria Wonder when stamping the candles. Easy cards that were easy to be reproduced! And then ribbon was perfect! Thanks for stopping by Happy Stampin Steph |
