I've been cleaning house to make room for all the new products coming in from the new Annual Catalog. I have list all the retired products on my Facebook page in an Album marked For Sale
I have also added two links to my blog site for easy access as well. Above on the menu that shows More - click on Retired Items for sale or on the right hand side of this page, click on the button that shows Retired Items, and either way you will be directed to my Facebook page. All my products are well taken care of. I do have a Dog but everything is kept in cabinets away from his reach. I request that you follow the rules in the album, please comment "Interested" under the photos of the items you which to purchase. I will send you a Facebook Message to confirm. The invoice must be paid before I ship any items. I use the post office for all shipping and primarily use Flat Rate shipping (a. the shipping materials are free and b. I can send more for the weight of certain products) Our Holiday catalog is just around the corner as well, so make sure to check back to see what other retired products I maybe adding. This month I decided on a gift bag/gift card set. Fits into the no rules theme because when I decided on my project for the blog, I wasn't thinking, and had chosen the retired 2014-2016 In Colors. My thought was to use up some supplies I had on hand...but oops because typically I only use current products for my blog projects. Now, these projects are so versatile and can certainly be adapted to any papers/colors you have on hand! Let's begin. I decided on the new Marquee Messages stamp set. Love it!!! So fun to use! Since the projects I made were 2 bags and 2 gift cards holders. I stamped the images 4 times in each color. Clean the stamp in between colors. I started with the lightest color, I stamped the Lost Lagoon first, focusing mostly on the arrow section, then since I only need the bottom of the stamp in Tangelo Twist, I stamped closer to edge of the paper and last was Blackberry Bliss, I needed the whole image. Then I cut the images out. I layered onto the Blackberry Bliss using dimensionals. Finished them off with the Gold Wink of Stella. To make the gift card holder, you need a piece of cardstock measuring 4 1/4 x 11. Score on the 11" side to 5 1/2 and 2 3/4. Fold over and only adhere the outside edges, to make a pocket for the gift card and punch a notch using the 3/4" circle punch. See 5th & 6th photos. I decorated the pocket using a piece of DSP that measures 2 1/2x4. The inside piece of DSP measures 5 1/4x4. You could use a piece of white if you prefer to have more area to right on. I used the same DSP on the outside front section. I stapled a strip of gold sequins onto the Marquee and only added dimensionals on the left edge so you can lift open the giftcard. Then I glued on a few sequins here and there to finish it off. To keep the gift card closed I added a little velcro dot. The giftbag was pretty simple. I grabbed the bags at the Dollar Tree. I stamped the Writing Notes stamp using the Basic Black onto Whisper White. Then cut out around it. I also stamped the greeting at the bottom in Blackberry Bliss and 2 stars in Lost Lagoon. I used the same DSP and cut a piece that's 6 x8 1/2 and another at 1 1/2x8. I also cut a piece of Lost Lagoon to 2 x 8 1/2. I punched the ends of the 2 strips using the Triple Banner Punch. I stapled the strips to the DSP and then attached to the bag with Fast Fuse. I also stapled the gold sequins to the top corner of the Writing Notes. I added the Marquee image with the dimensionals. And again finished off with sequins here and there. Last but not least I added the bow with the Blackberry Bliss canvas ribbon. I hope you enjoyed my projects. Thanks for stopping by Happy Stampin Steph What's better than getting together with friends, enjoying laughter and of course a few mixed drinks? Not to much else I'd guess.
This stamp set is super fun and super easy to use. And well, the drink choices are endless!!! That's because the set is a two-step stamp. You can stamp the base (drink glass) and add whatever color you'd like your drink to be. You also have an umbrella, fruit slices and even bubbles. LOVE IT. I paired my design with the new Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper. I love the colors. My focus was the new Emerald Envy In Color and Melon Mambo. Gorgeous! To finish off my designs I had a request for a wine bottle tag. This is what I came up with. What a great gift to give someone, perfect for a co-worker, friend or family member. Are you thirsty yet?? Want to learn how to make this? Come on by to my card club on June 22nd. Click on my events calendar and RSVP. Happy Stampin Steph Here's a pair of cards I made using the Layering Love stamp set and Sweet and Sassy Framelits.
Sweet and simple to make! I love the new In Colors. I really enjoyed playing around with them today. For the cards, I used Whisper White as the cardbase. Top layer is 4 x5 1/4. On the left, I chose the Sweet Sugarplum ink. I used 2 stamp sets, Swirly Bird and Layering Love. I stamped off before stamping the swirl background just to make the sugarplum a shade lighter. I stamped the little swirls in the full color. On the right card, I cut the Swirly Scribble Thinlits in Pool Party.. I stamped the sentiment from Layering Love, in Sweet Sugarplum (left) and Dapper Denim (right). I used the Sweet & Sassy Framelits to cut it out. Then I used the same color cardstock as the ink using the next size up heart to create the frame. I added rhinestones here and there to finish it off. Each 4 x 5 1/4 white layer is attached to the cardbase using dimensionals. I hope you like it! Feel free to contact me if you are interested in any products used. Happy Stampin Steph As I anxiously await my new catalog order to arrive. I decided to continue to play with my pre-order products.
I made the cards using the new Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper. This paper is black and white..with pops of Melon Mambo. I stamped the sentiment from Layering Love. Now I will admit I wasn't sure what direction I was going in when I started making the cards. I wanted to showcase the Melon Mambo. Not sure if it's too much or not. I stamped the image from Work of Art in Melon Mambo and continued to stamp without re-inking so the shade of Melon Mambo would get lighter and lighter. The hearts were also from the Work of Art. Stamped in Melon Mambo and punched out from the Itty Bitty Punch pack! oops retired sorry. I used the Banner Framelits to cut out the sentiments. The card on the left, I cut the Melon Mambo cardstock to 1 1/2" and only cut the tip of the paper with the framelit smaller than the one used for the sentiment. You do this by feeding the paper from the top. The card on the right, I did the same with the Banner Framelits. I also added a bow made from the new Thick Whisper White Baker's Twine and Melon Mambo tails. What do you think? Feel free to contact me to order any of the products featured in these cards! Happy Stampin Steph Today I began working on projects featuring products from my new catalog preorder. My projects took a little detour, when I was inspired by a Stamipin Up group on Facebook. Lots of demonstrators from around the world have been posting ideas and photos on how they are hosting their catalog launch parties.
I decided to grab the File Tab Framelits when they were put on the retired list. So glad I did. As I decided to make tabs for my new catalog. Perfect! I had to tweak my document to make sure I had everything lined up correctly to cut. That took a little bit of time. You still need to make sure the File Tabs are lined up over your printout right before running through the Big Shot. Love the results. You'll have to come to my Flip Flop Fiesta Catalog Launch Party to find out how you can get a set for you catalog. I made 2016-18 In Color Bookmarks. This is just one of the items guests will find in their treat bag at my launch party. And last but not least. I wanted to have a color chart handy without having to take my catalog out each time or rummage through all my stamps. I created this document in word and just stamped the colors in the squares. So happy with how it turned out. This document will also be available at my launch party...but you'll have to come by and see how you can receive one. I'm really excited preparing for the event. Make sure to check yesterdays blog post for more information. Keep Cool and Happy Stampin Steph |
