I love fulfilling my customer's requests!! And I love seeing cards that I can't wait to CASE. I usually ask my card club attendees what type of cards they'd like to make. I want to make sure that I am fulfilling their card needs! And this time I was asked to make some graduation cards for our next card club.
Since graduations haven't really been a need until this year for myself, as well, I looked towards Pinterest for inspiration!!! I came across 2 different designs that I thought were perfect. I tweaked both to use what I have on hand! For the card in the picture above, I used the idea by Stamp w/ Liz. You can see details on the card by clicking here. I used the B.Y.O.P and Perfectly Wrapped Stamp sets and the Neutrals DSP stack. I stayed with black and white as the colors since that is what our towns high school colors are. The cards in the picture below, I saw posted in Pinterest by Suzie Orr. I made one card using Real Red since those are the colors of the recipients school! And I made the other card in black and white. I used the Number of Years stamp set with matching framelits and the Balloon Celebration stamp set with coordinating Balloon Punch. Make sure to check up my events to see how you can make awesome cards like these!!!! Happy Stampin Steph

A full list of Blog Hop participants are listed at the end so you can continue along the hop!
For the April Blog Hop I chose a bundle that I purchased awhile back when the Occasions catalog first went live! I have barely used it! The colors intimidate I think! And the DSP is more on the masculine side, which I don't typically make many projects out of!
The card I chose to make uses all Stampin Up products. The bundle I chose was from the Party Animal Suite on page 4-5 of the Occasions Catalog and the stamp set is the Balloon Adventures. I also used the matching framelits (Balloon Pop-up) and Party Animal embellishments and Emerald Envy taffeta ribbon. I used a Paper and ink combination of Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Emerald Envy and Pacific Point. Card: The card is pretty easy to make I used Emerald Envy for my cardbase and a piece of DSP cut to and 1/8" shorter than the cardbase. I cut out the balloon background with the Balloon Pop up framelits, then I trimmed the edges to the size I wanted it to be on the front of the card. Stamped the balloons using the Balloon Adventures and Balloon Celebration stamp sets. Punched them out using the Balloon punch. I stamped the banner and cut it out by hand. I added clear Wink of Stella on the balloons, banner and strings. I also added some Basic Rhinestones.
At the moment the bag is filled with Smarties. But I will be changing it up when I give it to my Aunt on Easter Sunday for her birthday. I plan to fill it with some of her favorite candy's and a gift card she can use shopping!!
I hope you enjoyed the projects I made for you! Please leave a comment for your chance at winning some blog candy!!! Happy Stampin Steph The 2015-2017 In Color's Collection is among the list of retiring products. Not familiar with what In Colors are??? Well Stampin Up has 5 color categories or collections. There are 4 main ones that contain 10 different colors each: Brights, Neutral, Regals and Subtles. Then we have the 5th which is In Colors, these collections include 5 colors. The In Color collections are available for 2 years. We currently have 2 sets of In Colors: 2015-2017 & 2016-2018. The 2015-2017 In Color inks, paper, ribbon and embellishments will retire on May 31st.
