I enjoyed making the Accordion Organizer for an upcoming shopping event...I didn't stop there. I made a slightly smaller version for notecards. Stampin Up sells a set of notecards and envelopes so I just used those. If you saw my post on the Accordion file, then the concept is the same. I just adjusted the paper size and score lines to accommodate the smaller envelopes. You can read all about it and get the full directions here. To make the folder, you will need 4 Stampin Up notecards and envelopes, DSP & 1 piece of paper that measures 5 1/2"x9 1/2". On the 9 1/2" side, score at 2", 2 1/4", 6", 6 1/4" & 9" Fold and burnish all score lines. Take the 9" score line and fold it opposite and glue it down. You will need DSP in the following sizes: 1-5 1/4"x1 3/4" outside flap 1-5 1/4"x2 1/2" inside flap 1-5 1/4"x3 3/8" back I find it easier to add the dsp before I assemble the folder. From this point on, you can follow the directions from the Accordion Folder here. Just use 4 envelopes instead of 8 I decorated the notecards using the Lots of Love Stamp set and used scraps of paper from the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP And each card has a little pocket of it's own. After the cards are gone, you can use this for receipts, coupons, embellishments etc whatever you wish
I hope you enjoyed this project. Thanks for checking it out Happy Stampin Steph

Good Morning...well almost afternoon! I am so excited to share my first attempt at an Accordion style organizer/folder. As many of you are aware I working diligently to be prepared for an up coming Pop-Up Shop on Sunday, May 5th. Our theme is Mother's Day/Spring/Father's Day/Grads, you know pretty much the events that happening during these months. I wanted to make something I've never made before. So I searched the web and came across several of the Accordion folder tutorials. But I wasn't crazy about the styles. But I did take some of the concepts in mind, when I designed mine. And this was very easy......once I figured it out!!!!! Ok, so must of the time when I am working on Vendor Prepwork, I try hard to use up my stash ....especially this time of year, when the new annual catalog is just around the corner. So many of the stamps sets I had will retire, so be sure to check out my items for sale in June 2019. So let's get started I chose to use 2 different retired Stampin Up DSPS, one called Whole Lot of Lovely and the other is Watercolor Wonder. These were once one of my favorite paper packs.....but I felt they worked perfect for this project.
Fold and burnish the score lines and lets decorate. I found it easier to decorate the outside of the folder before assembling. So grab your favorite DSP and lets cut! You will need 3 pieces: 1-5 7/8"x4 3/8" (back) 1-5 7/8"x2 7/8" (bottom flap) 1-5 7/8"x2 3/8" (top flap) Now let's set the base aside and work on the accordion part of the folder. I really like the folders I came across that used envelopes!!! Super easy and takes the guess work of figuring out measures away! Love that. So my folder is designed to work with the Stampin Up Medium Envelopes in Whisper White. I used 8 envelopes so that there would be plenty of pockets to use! So what you are going to do is simple:
So now, the open part of the envelope is your top and each envelope should now be attached to one another. We need to add adhesive to the top and bottom of one side of the stack and just the bottom of the other side. It doesn't matter which side you choose to do what, but I chose the side that does not have the sealed flap to be the side that will stick to the base of my cardstock, so this side will get adhesive across the top and bottom. See pictures below
In the picture to the left, you can see where I kind of bend the envelope down on that scored edge to line it up. Then I just fold it flat to adhere the bottom flap to the envelope. A small amount of the envelop at the top is exposed but that's OK! Makes it easier to get things in and out. And that is pretty much it! You've already added the DSP to the outside, the envelopes are in...and the Accordion folder is done! Well...almost... I needed to add something on the outside to indicate what the folder was being used for. But since I am preparing these for a shopping event. I didn't want to assume what it would be used for. So I made interchangeable label for the front cover. I just typed it the label names on my computer and printed them on Whisper White. I used retired ovals to punch them out. I left one blank, Notes, Cards, Receipts, Coupons. They can be switch out as the needs change for the folder. I just small Velcro circle Here is the Watercolor Wonder DSP with Tangerine Tango and Smoky Slate base. I hope you enjoyed my project. I'd love to hear what you think, so be sure to leave a comment. Thanks for checking it out. Happy Stampin Steph Welcome to our April Stampin Friends Blog Hop. This month hop showcases projects that feature Mother’s Day. Be sure to check out all our wonderful crafters and their amazing projects. Did you come from Cheryl Taylor’s blog? Wasn’t her projects wonderful. After viewing my projects you will want to visit Melissa Thomas' blog. Missed someone along the way?? At the end of my blog is a list of all participants, so be sure to select the next inline. You are at #7 Steph Jandrow. I am working on projects to sell at an upcoming Pop-Up shop for the spring. One of my focuses will be on Mother's Day! Sometimes it is tough when selling papercrafts, we have to be different and appealing for customers. I have always wanted to make tea box dispenser and the up coming shop will be perfect to display. You can search all over Pinterest and the internet to find all different instructions. This is super easy to make. All products and supplies are Stampin Up! I used the Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper on page 188 of the current Annual Catalog. This paper is retiring and is now on the while supplies list. You will need a 12x12 piece of card stock cut to 6x12. I chose Daffodil Delight as the box base. I used the Tea Together Stamp set from the Occasions catalog and the matching framelits. ( this stamp set will be carrying over to the new 2019-2020 Annual catalog. How exciting!!! Using your Stampin Trimmer or Scoring Tool, and the 6" side of the paper at the top. Score at 1". Turn the paper so the 12" is now at the top and score at 3-1/16, 5-3/4, 8-13/16 and 11-1/2" So now we are going to trim, you have 5 sections that measure 3-1/16, 2-1/16, 3-1/16, 2-1/16 and 1/2". Chose the 2-1/16 *that falls in-between the 2-- 3-1/16, you need to score 3/4" above the 1" score line. Cut out the section once scored. Then, cut the 1" flap at the bottom of the 1/2" score line. Cut up to the 1" score line. For the lid you need a piece of cardstock that measures 4-1/4x4-5/8" Score at 3/4" on all 4 sides. Cut and assemble. This may sound a little confusing so I have added this link to Heidi Baks who goes into detail on YouTube on to make the dispenser. To make the panels, I just measure 1/4" smaller than the box and lid. And decorated with the Tea Together images. The dispenser holds a small box of tea! Adorable! My card was nice and simple! My card base is Coastal Cabana. My first layer is Whisper White 4x5-1/4" and for the next layer, I used a piece of Designer Paper from the Tea Room pack that measures 3x3-3/4" I stamp flower and Mother's Day greeting, from the Tea Together set and colored the flowers in with Blends (I used Bermuda Bay and Old Olive), I also stamped the same images on Whisper White cardstock for the inside of the card. Before adhering to the card base, I added the Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green Reversible Ribbon and finished with a bow. At first I wasn't sure how the ribbon would look. But I was quite pleased! Very pretty in person!!! Thank you so much for joining this month's blog hop. I hope you like my projects and all the other projects you have seen! I hope you were inspired to create as well! Be sure to visit Melissa's blog next and continue on! Thanks for stopping by Happy Stampin Steph

Happy Stampin Steph DIE-CUTTING AND EMBOSSING PRODUCT CHANGES We have some big changes to our die-cutting and embossing product line that will give us a better opportunity to support the long-term vision we have for the line. While we’ve worked with our current supplier for many years, we’ve had the opportunity to reassess this relationship. After extensive research, demonstrator feedback, and evaluation, we’ve decided to move in a new direction and we’re optimistic about this new course. We strive to provide you with the best papercrafting products and experiences, without sacrificing the quality Stampin’ Up! is known for, all while being mindful of cost and other important considerations, including our Stampin’ Up! value of Innovation: We embrace the spirit of discovery by setting challenging goals, considering opportunities, emphasizing creativity, and having the courage to change as we strive to better our best. Innovation requires risk, and in our pursuit of a better overall die-cutting and embossing product line, we’re experiencing more significant challenges than we originally planned for. These are not insurmountable challenges, but they are taking time to resolve. Because of these setbacks, we will not offer a die-cutting & embossing machine in the 2019–2020 annual catalog. We know this will create some challenges for you, and for that, we apologize. Our product development department is moving with responsible haste to work through this issue, and we will share more information as things are finalized. However, we will offer new dies and embossing folders in the 2019–2020 annual catalog. Since we’re using a new supplier, the dies and folders will be manufactured differently; this means the way you use the new style of dies and folders will be a little different than how you used the old style. Both the new-style and old-style dies and embossing folders can work with any die-cutting & embossing machine (in some cases, adaptations like shims may be required because the gap between rollers on machines may vary slightly between manufacturers; this is explained more in our Q&A PDF below). One of the significant factors in this decision is that instead of working with a supplier who works with a manufacturer, we are moving to a direct-to-manufacturer relationship. This means that we will work directly with the factories who manufacture our dies and folders instead of working with another company who then works with different factories. This gives us greater control and potential in the manufacturing process. Here’s one example of how that will work: having a direct-to-manufacturer relationship will better allow us to implement die and folder ideas we gather from you, our power users. When we gather feedback and ideas from you, we will now be able to work directly with the factories making the products to implement those innovative ideas. So while the current situation isn’t ideal, we are setting the foundation for greater die-cutting and embossing opportunity in the future. OLD STYLE NEW STYLE Beginning April 9, 2019 Product Name References In communications, you’ll notice us transition away from our old-style die-cutting and embossing product names and start referring to them in our new-style names.
