STAMPIN FRIENDS 2023 LOTS OF LAYERS BLOG HOP

This month's theme is cards with Lots of Layers. I love this theme! Making cards with multiple layers allows my card to evolve as I make it. Some cards that I plan my cards out and that is how I make it. But layered cards, I definitively let my mood dictate how I create the layers.  This card was made using the Stampin Up Bright & Beautiful Suite. 
I started with a Blueberry Bushel base. I added a piece of Lemon Lime Twist 4 x 5 1+4 embossed using the Painted Texture Embossing folder. 
I chose 4 different paper patterns from the Bright & Beautiful 6x6 DSP.  Cut 2 pieces at 2x 31/2 and 1 at 3/4x5 1/4, i used fringe scissors and cut along the edges.   (see picture below). The last paper I used the Beautiful Balloons dies and cut out the triple balloon. 

I cut out a balloon in Berry Burst and stamped the Happy Birthday using Blueberry Bushel.  Before assembling the card, I added a glue dot to the bottom off each balloon, and then added a strand of Basic White Baker's Twine. Add the layers of DSP to the cardbase with adhesive, add dimensionals to the balloons. Tie the twine together and add a few Basic Rhinestones, colored with Blueberry Bushel and Berry Burts Stampin Blends.
