STAMPIN FRIENDS MAY 2022 CELEBRATING MEN BLOG HOP

Welcome to the May Stampin Friends Blog Hop where we are celebrating Men!!! I think I say this every time I work with masculine cards, I am always stumped on what to make! I do not make masculine cards often, and I do not receive much of a request for them. So when I do need to make them I am at a loss. My card is super simple to make. I used the new suite by Stampin Up called He's the Man. The 12x12 Designer Series paper includes 2 die-cuts. I incorporated a few pieces in my projects.
I used a combination of the DSP, Sahara Sand, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Basic Black.
You will need:
Sahara Sand cardstock at 4 1/4x5 1/2
DSP 4x5 1/4 and 3 1/4x 3 1/4
Basic Black 3 1/2x7 on the 7" side score at 3 1/2
Basic White 3 1/4x3 1/4

You will also need a few small pieces to cut the banners and shapes out of
Attach the largest DSP layer to the Sahara Sand. Take the basic black fold on the score lines. Attach the DSP to the top of the folded section and the basic white on the inside. The attach to the Sahara Sand layers.  I cut out the circle, oval and banners using the dies from this suite! I stamped Happy Father's day on the inside.
​I love that it's mini card on a card.

For my next project, I decided to make a coordinating bag. I always have paper bags in the house and decided it would be perfect for a masculine project. And the kraft bag goes great with the Suite.

Again, really simple. I folded over the top of the bag and cut 2 strips of DSP 2x12 and 1/2x12 to wrap around the bag as a belly band. I cut out the shapes from the dies and used the You're Flippin Awesome die cut!
Such a fun little treat bag that can hold a bunch of goodies. 
And, the card fits in there too!!!
